Job Description & Role:

We are seeking a Accountant to become an integral part of our team! We are in the marketing industry and have a Niche market. The ideal candidate will be very "hands-on" accounting, you will oversee financial activities as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency while helping to Maximize profit and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a very hands-on approach to accounting and will not shy away from a challenge if one presents itself. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all financial activities
• Help us move to an accrual based accounting approach
• Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Conduct internal audits to assess the financial status
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including PCI compliance
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors
• Help position the company for maximum tax benefit and perform preparatory tax return needs
• Manage client credit cards on file
• Ensure client ad budget collections match client ad spend
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
• Process payroll

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Tax experience is a plus

Results:

• You will help organize and maintain the company’s finances such that we have clarity and confidence in our financial standing
• Reports done on time each month
• You will be eligible for a profit share after 90 days of employment

Pay:

• $60,000-$75,000
