Position Description & Job Responsibilities – Accounting Clerk

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail oriented individual to fill the role of Accounting Clerk within our Accounting Department. This person would be responsible for a wide variety of accounting-related tasks that are primarily associated with updating and preparing financial records.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting and HR department.
• Record employee expense reports and Corporate AMEX in accounting system.
• Prepare program financial reports (ledgers) for monthly job closing deadlines
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Accounting Clerk Requirements:

• 2-year degree, accounting related.
• Accounting: minimum 1 year.
• Strong proficiency in Excel is a Must.
• Proficiency in Sage is preferred.
• Certified credentials preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Detail oriented.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Willingness for ongoing training.

Physical Requirements:

• Commuting to CSI office in Haines City.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Benefits:

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience / 10-15 hours a week

Company laptop will be provided.

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States without Visa support
