Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: Waunakee

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm, with some variation)

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Payments, coding accounts, splitting invoices into accounts, and entering payables into QuickBooks
• Accounts Receivable: Ledger of doctor accounts, posting incoming checks, entering payments on A/R software, scanning/attaching documents, Down List and other reports as needed
• General Ledger: Charts of accounts and general ledger entries
• Inventory Control: Ordering supplies, physical counts, and delivering supplies to technicians
• Computer Proficiency

Education:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

Requirements:

• Preferred: Minimum of 1-year experience in accounting
• Driver’s license required; acceptable driving record as deemed by our insurance company

Work Environment:

• Company: D&S is described as a “manufacturer of dental appliances,” and therefore is production-based. D&S is challenging, rewarding, collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative. In many departments, once trained, employees are encouraged to use headphones during their workday to listen to music, audiobooks, podcasts, etc. The management team regularly surprises employees with lunch, organizes employee outings, facilitates creative events (i.e., craft fair, pumpkin carving contest, etc.).
