Job Description :

The Mirabel Hotel & Restaurant Group is a growing hospitality group in Carmel. We are searching for an Accounting Manager to produce all in-house accounting products, including financials, payables, and payroll. The right candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for all entities and projects, fiscal management, cost control, and theultimate profitability of all entities. This position is a vital part of the Executive team.

Supervise Data Entry

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data entry required to build the monthly P&L for all Mirabel operating companies, including:
  • Daily Account Reports
  • Vendor Invoices
  • Petty Cash Spreadsheets
  • Monthly Expense Reports
  • Bank Activity (2-3 times a week and reconcile on monthly basis)

Supervise Accounts Payable

  • Ensure accuracy of all vendor records, including invoices and statements.
  • Review payables with managers and owner on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain good contact with primary vendors.
  • Minimize penalty fees and finance charges.
  • Work with all parties to maintain controls and to meet expense budgets.

Budgets and Forecasting

  • Work with and direct the development of budgets for all aspects of hotel and restaurant operations on a cycle basis for the fiscal year.
  • Maintain accurate current and historical financial data, including covers, rooms, and averages.
  • Work with managers to ensure adherence to budgets and spending limits monthly.
  • Conduct P&L reviews on a regular basis to optimize profitability.

Payroll and Employee Data Bases

  • Bi-Weekly payroll
  • Payroll taxes
  • Quarterly federal and state payroll reports
  • Employee Tips
  • Resort Fees
  • Back of House Tips and Fees

Company Insurance

  • Handles all company insurance policies
  • Negotiates yearly quotes
  • Works with auditors as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
