Help us take safety to the next level! For more than 30 years, we’ve been building specialized trucks that keep workers safe in highway construction, utilities, and incident response. Based on our success, we’ve spent the past few years launching innovative technology-based products that further enhance safety for working crews.

These proprietary products leverage emerging technologies that make work zones virtual, wireless, streaming, and connected – so you’ll need to be tech-savvy and have a passion for technology if you want to be successful in this role.

This entry level position is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated and energetic, looking to expand his/her skills in sales, project management and customer support, and gain a better understanding of emerging technologies.

This position pays a base salary plus generous commission structure with unlimited earning potential and guaranteed commission for the first 6 months while training. This role leverages our well-established customer base and is fully supported by the marketing team for new lead generation and prospecting.

  • Act as a liaison between our software developers and customers to communicate project needs, status, and updates from initial discussions through development and hand-off
  • Provide technical support to existing customers
  • Perform testing of products/training programs before releasing to the customer (yes, you’ll get paid to play with our VR programs!)
  • Support sales and marketing efforts for major trade shows, conferences, and demonstrations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of related experience in an inside or outside sales role
  • Must be a tech-savvy thinker - this role requires the ability to learn and comprehend emerging technologies such as virtual reality and smart connected devices
  • Demonstrated customer support skills in being able to interpret customer needs and offer the right solution
  • Experienced and comfortable with cold-calling and nurturing prospects
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person including active listening
  • Solid experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Flexible work schedule based on customer needs (this role covers the U.S./multiple time zones)
  • Able to travel occasionally for tradeshows, industry conferences, business meetings/demos, and end user training

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts
  • Strong desire to build a long-term sales career
  • Knowledgeable with social media and email marketing
  • Prior experience using a CRM system
