The AIML Privacy Enablement Team is driving tools and technologies which allow Apple engineers to fulfill the promise of incredible user experiences and rock solid data privacy. Working cross-functionally between engineering, product, legal, and privacy teams you will develop solutions to novel problems and help drive their implementation. Success requires understanding of data and privacy concepts, as well as an ability to work within a diverse multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively partner, influence, and instill confidence with key partners
  • Excellent project management skills to structure, track, and handle on-time work streams across multiple teams
  • Knowledge of standard software engineering methodologies (familiarity with cloud infrastructure and machine learning a plus!)
  • Passion for continuous process improvement and smooth user experiences
  • Data-driven analytical abilities and good judgment to extract insights and prioritize opportunities

Description

As part of the Privacy Enablement team, you will work on the infrastructure and tools that Apple engineers use to build intelligent features — while preserving customer privacy. Your role will include the following responsibilities: - Build relationships with internal and external partners - Establish and drive cross-team roadmaps - Set business and operational metrics to ensure continuous improvement - Proactively identify new use cases and define product requirements and specifications to strengthen the platform - Ensure that privacy is a first principle in all development cycles

Education & Experience

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Information Science or equivalent experience preferred

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,000 and $207,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
