Concord Estates is a 6 bed residential care facility for the elderly in Murrieta, CA. We are looking for a caregiver to join our fun, positive and energetic team!!!

All training provided by a Registered Nurse!

Full Time Caregiver needed from 7pm-7am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Night Shift: 7pm-7am

Description:

- We provide assistance for the elderly with meal preparation, activities of daily living, housekeeping, laundry, activities and medication management to our residents.

- The ideal candidate needs to be energized, reliable, eager to continuously learn and compassionate to assist our senior residents with their activities of daily living and enhance their lives.

Responsibilities:
1. Assisting Senior Residents with Activities of Daily Living such as Bathing, Dressing, Eating, Transferring, Toileting, Continence
2. Assisting Resident to Take Prescribed Medication
3. Assisting Residents with Ambulation and Mobility Around the House or Outside
4. Helping Residents with Physical Therapy Exercises
5. Perform Housekeeping Duties
6. Be a Pleasant and Supportive Companion
7. Report any Unusual Incidents
8. Acting Quickly and Responsibly in Cases of Emergency
9. Meal Preparation
10. Have a passion working the elderly

Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Experience in Caregiving Preferred
3. Respectful and Compassionate
4. Be professional in appearance and conduct
5. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
6. Strong Ethics, Dependability, and Adaptability
7. High Physical Endurance
8. Must have CPR certification upon hire. CPR must remain current during employment
9. Must have a negative Tb test and physical
10. Must have current Adult First Aid card at time of employment and maintain throughout length of employment.
11. Must have a Criminal Record Clearance from the DOJ to Work in the Community

Other Requirements:
1. Able to Regularly Listen and Speak to Individuals, Stand for Long Periods, Move About the Community, Bend, Reach, and Lift Up to 50 Lbs
2. Be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum level to understand and be understood by supervisors, co-workers and residents.
