Job Title: Clinical Assistant (with LPN, CMA, RTR, or ATC license)

Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is a leader in orthopedic care with four locations across Lancaster and Lebanon counties. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, Radiologic Technologist, or Athletic Trainer to join our clinical team as a Clinical Assistant.

Schedule/Work Environment:

• Full Time
• Weekdays 5-hour and 10-hour shifts between 6:45am-6:00pm
• Employees receive a shift differential for time worked in the evenings past 5:30pm and any time on the weekends.
• No Call

Job Description/Duties:

• Welcome Patients to the practice
• Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment
• Prepares patients for examination, including suture/staple removal
• Acquire vitals and accurately document in EMR
• Interview patient for allergies, medications, and history
• Assist the physician in the exam room
• Prepare Injections/supplies using sterile technique
• Apply Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
• Provide patient education for care after visit
• Maintain equipment and stock exam rooms
• Assist with patient check-out
• Provides patients with accurate information when answering questions and concerns
• Complete referrals accurately and appropriately
• Acquire radiographic images using ALARA when licensed according to state regulation

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current licensure or certification for LPN, CMA, RTR, or ATC
• Valid CPR certification
• Ability to Walk/Stand frequently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience using EPIC
• Strong organization skills
• Superior Customer Service Skills
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication
