Pursuit of Happiness is a counseling organization looking for counselors and psychologists to provide mental health services for children in the foster care and adoption system. Qualified applicants must be able to provide their own transportation, have a full LPC license or LP license (sorry, no interns/associates) or LMFT or LCSW, carry liability insurance, and have a passion for helping kids.

You can expect to be paid well. Just 15 kids will have you on track to make over $60k per year. A 25 patient caseload is over $100k. We have a couple of counselors who grind to the tune of over $200k per year. We love paying for your hard work!

Candidates MUST be comfortable seeing a wide age range of kids. Kids in foster care can be any age so this flexibility is required.

Our systems are on the cloud, eliminating the need for papers. You will not be responsible for a billing log or any other paperwork other than your notes. We are a very counselor centric organization that tries to make things as easy as possible for our therapists so that they can do what they love, seeing patients!
