Job Summary:

Support the company and corporate communications team in expanding our brand by creating or refining our print and digital marketing content with the goal of expanding inbound traffic and sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned as required by business needs.

• Work with the Corporate Communications team to develop content strategies for our various brands
• Create, adapt, and review copy for communications to clients, prospects, and the public via various digital methods
• Coordinate and liaise with our public relations firm for content creation and PR
• Enhance and modernize standard company documents such as presentations, RFPs, and proposals
• Monitor the performance of our various marketing efforts and ad campaigns
• Oversee content on various websites to ensure it continues to be relevant and accurate
• Increase intra-company communication by creating content to be shared with employees and posting to our intranet
• Research competitors and industry trends to build on our marketing strategy
• Assist individual employees in improving their social media presence by updating their profile and developing a simple strategy they can follow
• Assist HR department is using LinkedIn for employee recruitment

Education and/or Experience:

• College degree in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or communications
• Public relations, marketing, and/or sales experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication skills
• Excellent writing skills including copywriting and proficiency in using correct grammar
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of design principles or image editing software is a plus
• Organized with an ability to prioritize time sensitive assignments
• Ability to work independently and with a team• Maintains a professional, cordial, and effective relationship with co-workers and business contacts
• Must exhibit and respect each of our company’s values
• Excellent knowledge of principles of social media

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Work may be performed in a typical interior/office work environment

• No or very limited exposure to physical risk
