Established in 1948, The Mission of the Warren-Washington Association for Mental Health, Inc. (WWAMH) is to improve the quality of life for those affected by mental illness and to promote the awareness and importance of mental well-being in the community.

WWAMH is currently looking to fill the position of Director of Information Technology. This individual would be responsible for planning, overseeing and performing a variety of activities in the Agency's computer systems. The person that we hire will provide the coordination of all company IT initiatives and programs.

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, the following:

• Lead the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Participate in the Agency’s senior management responsibilities, including organizational development, strategic planning and reporting.
• Collaborate, coordinate, assist and advise with all agency departments and leadership teams on IT matters.
• Order and deploy mobile cell devices to users.
• Coordinate the installations, maintenance and programming of Agency computers.
• Provide technical support and training to Agency employees.
• Manage daily incoming user-submitted support tickets to internal HelpDesk.
• Establish production procedures, priorities and controls to insure adequate volume and accuracy in operations to meet department needs.
• Coordinate installation of hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate inventory of computers, mobile devices and network equipment.
• Ensure that all Agency IT equipment and network devices function normally, contacting external vendor for assistance.
• Windows server environment, Meraki cloud firewalls and wifi access points.
• Install new hardware and software and help train employees on its use.
• Determine the need for new or additional equipment and recommends type and/or capacity.
• Conduct Annual HIPAA Risk Assessment and implementing ongoing identified risks as needed.
• Repair and maintain computers; proficiency in hardware repair is needed.
• Prepare a variety of records and reports related to the work.

Respond to user problems and questions on system and software operational problems and works with external computer vendor as necessary to solve problems.

Qualifications:

• An Associate’s degree in an Information Technology related field and five years of experience in Information Technology support; or Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and five years of experience in Information Technology support; or An equivalent combination of experience and training as defined by the limits above.
• Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to Agency insurance standards.
• Must be of good character and background and display an affinity for working with people with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Must have the ability to work independently, have good problem solving skills and have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
