UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a full-time (35hr) Early Childhood Project Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Child First and Intensive Family Preservation programs within UCFS Health Services. The Early Childhood Project Assistant is an integral part of both of these community-based behavioral health programs, functioning as a key link between staff and the families receiving services through various responsibilities such as managing data outcomes, entry in various databases, creating client profiles in the electronic health records, and supporting successful admission of clients into the programs. While this position is primarily remote, it will require occasional visits to the Norwich office and the Early Childhood Project Assistant will be expected to participate in regular team meetings to encourage communication and collaboration with program staff.

Essential Responsibilities -

  • Coordinate with all referring providers and referred clients to support successful admission into the Child First program. Conduct outreach calls and contact as needed for potential clients and referrers and document contact in Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Scanning chart documentation into EHRs and creating client profiles, as needed.
  • Routine management of data and databases for quality improvement, planning, and auditing initiatives for Child First and Intensive Family Preservation programs which may encompass data entry, spreadsheet, template and report creation &/or generation, and preliminary data analysis or other related data activities.
  • Manage all PIE data entry and auditing for Child First program.
  • Independently function as Super User of Child First Carelogic EHR, which includes creating profiles in database for all clients. Provide consultation and troubleshooting of Carelogic for all Child First staff. Coordinate and initiate regular transfer of charts to UCFS EHR for outpatient treatment services as well as for purposes of subpoenas.
Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience required - Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years directly related administrative or project support experience, to include demonstrated skill with data base, spreadsheet, analysis, presentation and report software & management
  • Strong interpersonal & communications skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to independently manage oneself within diverse and concurrent duties and responsibilities
