Embedded Systems Project Engineer

As an Embedded Systems Project Engineer you will be responsible for selecting and designing system architectures for products that meet expectations of our customers based on customer specifications, proposals we prepared and marketing input as appropriate for the particular project. Products range from ruggedizing commercial printers to full military qualified ethernet switch/servers. A project engineer will be responsible for directly designing or coordinating the design of each element of a system. The project engineering is expected to have sufficient experience developing products using elements such as:

• FPGAs (Intel/Altera a plus)
• Microcontrollers (Microchip a plus) and single board computers (Congatec/Versalogic a plus)
• Ethernet I/O (Intel I210 a plus) and/or code stacks
• Computer languages such as C, C++ and platforms such as Linux/Windows

Experience with thermal printing, managed switches, or digital video very desirable

Experience using Altium for schematic capture a strong plus

Experience developing for Aerospace and/or Military standards is a strong plus

To meet all of these needs effectively, we expect any Project Engineer to come to use with at least 5 years of detailed design experience.

BSEE or 10 years directly applicable experience required

Must be fully authorized to work in the USA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
