Executive Chef Responsibilities Include:

• Following all recipe, safety and sanitation standards
• Regulating production according to restaurant needs
• Creating a positive environment that sets the expectation for quality food and a neat, clean, and organized kitchen
• Coordinating shift plans and communicating needs and expectations with kitchen staff
• Ensuring safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
• Directing the hiring, supervision, development, and when necessary, termination of employees
• Monitoring food and labor costs

We Are Looking for an Executive Chef Who:

• Has a High School Diploma - graduate from an accredited culinary program preferred
• Has 3-5 years of culinary management experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Has a proven track record of producing quality food and controlling food and labor costs
• Can manage a large team while delegating tasks and ensuring consistent follow-up
• Communicates effectively
• Possesses a driver's license and reliable transportation
• Can stand and walk for long periods of time – 8-12 hours per shift
• Can lift 25-50 pounds, as needed
• Is available to work in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas
