The Bombers and Fighters (B&F) Product Security Engineering Capability is seeking Associate Product Security Engineers (Level 3) to assist Product Cybersecurity integration and liaison activities on BDS programs in St. Louis, MO and St. Charles, MO. Programs include F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, F-22, Weapons, MQ-25, B-52 and Proprietary activities.

Product Security and Product Cybersecurity is an emerging technical field that is looking for strong “systems of systems” thinkers and natural integrators/testers. This role is not an IT Cyber role but is, instead, a technical engineering position.

The best candidates will have diverse interests and experience to help put different lenses on the engineering security architecture. The team is seeking engineers with robust backgrounds in fields including – but not limited to – Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Avionics, and Mission Systems. While a candidate with a cybersecurity engineering background is a plus, it is not required to be considered for this position. Strong technical backgrounds are the key markers of the successful candidate.

Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Position Responsibilities:
Working closely with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders (including DOD customers & suppliers) and industry subject matter experts.

Ensuring the relevance of architecture and system designs in implementing program cybersecurity requirements.

Technical Leadership

Requirements/specification development and verification

Product design/development

Product sustainment and modification

Data collection and analysis

Test procedure development, test execution and/or problem resolution

Technical documentation development to meet contractual deliverable requirements

Onsite – not hybrid or virtual - This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/Experience):
Technical Bachelor's Degree or greater, (technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in an engineering, computer science, mathematics, or scientific field of study)

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in requirements analysis

Experience monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Experience with military aircraft systems

Experience with Systems Security or Cybersecurity Engineering

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: 112,200 – 151,800
