Stem Brothers, Inc. is a family owned full service petroleum marketing and HVAC business serving Hunterdon, Warren (NJ) and Bucks County (PA) for over 75 years.
We are searching for a operations field manager in our growing propane department who possesses knowledge and/or managerial experience relative to HVAC, plumbing, and/logistics (dispatch).
The candidate must be reliable, possess a clean driving record (position comes with company vehicle) and be a goal-oriented team player.
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Associates Degree, or equivalent managerial work experience.
Combination of 5-7 years experience in HVAC repairs, installations, or sales associated with heating oil, propane, and/or natural gas systems. (**Strong mechanical aptitude is required**.)
Background in operations and/or relative field experience.
Ability to multi-task and function as a managerial team leader.
Ability to demonstrate leadership and motivational skills.
Possess excellent oral, written, email, and telephone communication skills.
Possess exceptional problem solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Word/Excel
Must have clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a team of service technicians and fuel delivery drivers.
Oversee training and orientation of new service technicians and/or fuel delivery drivers.
Schedule daily service calls and installation work effectively to insure profitability.
Schedule and dispatch daily/weekly fuel deliveries.
Assist with customer inquiries associated with diagnostics, billing, deliveries etc.
Maintain parts room inventory and inbound part orders.
Process service and new installation work orders for invoicing.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, associated with USDOT regulations, Hazmat, and NFPA codes and standards.
Oversight of bulk plant maintenance and safety requirements of facility assets.
Inventory management and monthly reconciliation.
To promote and foster a positive customer experience with all the services and products we provide in the communities we serve.
Work directly with upper management on day-to-day operations and functions.
Company vehicle will be provided for this position.
