We are currently looking for a full-time Estimator/ Sales Associate to join our team that works closely with customers and other members of the sales staff to identify their needs and provide quality customer service. The ideal candidate is outgoing and friendly, and will be able to communicate effectively with customers as they identify which products would be most helpful to them. Our ideal candidate is willing to go the extra mile to meet customer requirements and will be a self-starter who can maintain productivity on their own. This is a Salary and Commission based position. Base $45,000 -$55,000 + quarterly commission based on gross profit margin. Car allowance and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Overall Job Purpose: Produce sales from incoming leads, referrals and repeat business. Networking and New Market share growth are essential.

Specific Job Duties:

· Project Estimating

o Take measurements at customer’s home or premises, make notes of job site conditions, get answers to all items on estimating checklist, and answer any customer questions.

o Figure material quantities needed to complete the job, including all accessories.

o Determine labor elements needed to complete the job successfully, including allowances when appropriate.

o Determine pricing and type up estimate(s) based on the above and send to the customer for review.

o Ensure the customer receives the estimate, answer any follow-up questions from the customer and work towards agreement.

o Keep files of all supporting paperwork, to be added to the job file after the job is sold.

· Project Management

o Stay in touch with customers between order and install to answer any questions that come up.

o Assist the Order-to-Install Logistics team with scheduling and ordering materials when needed, primarily by clarifying requirements or answering their questions.

o Add any needed notes and drawings to installer work order, and make sure installer has all the information needed to be successful.

o Process any change orders that occur during the install process by updating the invoice, ordering any additional materials, and making appropriate notes in QFloors (with support from Sales Assistant).

o Make site visits when needed (for large, complex or high-profile jobs) to ensure installers understand job requirements.

o Refer any technical issues that occur during the installation to the installation manager for resolution.

o Maintain close relationships with and ensure high level of customer satisfaction of repeat customers (contractors, prop mgrs., etc).

o Answer any questions needed for preparation of final customer invoice.

o Assist with following up with customers to ask for online reviews

· Showroom and Customer Service Support

o Provide showroom Coverage and phone coverage when needed, including Saturdays:

§ Assist with product selection and design

§ Order samples

§ Provide general pricing information

§ Schedule measures

§ Collect deposits and process orders
