Title:

SERVICE MANAGER (FOH)

Reports to:

Owner / General Manager

Hours:

Minimum of 7 Shifts (40-45 hours / week if salaried)

Summary of Position:

Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, & training necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee development, food consistency, BWL consistency, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. In addition, Service Manager is responsible for private dining, and catering agreements.

Service Manager is also responsible for alcohol inventory, pour consistency, and service standards for bar. Service Manager will supervise all servers, lead servers, bartenders, host, and bus positions to ensure that the guest has an amazing dining experience.

Service Manager must work with Kitchen Manager to achieve labor, revenue, and developmental goals.

Compensation: Salary / Hourly

- $600 - $850 / week

- $15-$19 / hour

Workload:

- Minimum of 40 hours per week if salaried (7 shift minimum)

- 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM 3:30 PM - CLOSE

Responsibilities at a Glance:

• Oversee the interview and hiring processes for positions such as servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders
• Ensure that all end of day checkouts are accurate
• Ensure that all cash deposits for end of day are accurate
• Work with kitchen to educate all service staff on new items & specials
• Schedule service staff weekly within labor budget
• Order supplies as needed
• Invoice organization / submission to accounting
• Booking private dining & catering events
• Ensure new hires are trained, tested, and prepared for success
• Setup new employees in POS, and with payroll
• Provide inventory of BWL (Beer, Wine, Liquor) weekly
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Conflict management abilities (Contact Sheets)
• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
• Attend community events when needed
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Food Safety Certification is a plus
