The American Structurepoint Marketing Services team develops the marketing and communications strategies and tactics to promote all of American Structurepoint’s services. It is our goal to deliver strategic marketing initiatives in support of American Structurepoint’s mission and market share growth objectives. This group’s number one goal is to make the company look good!


We are seeking a creative mind with an eye and passion for stellar graphic design. In this role, you will be part of an industry-leading team that thrives on delivering unique and creative materials that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience. The candidate should have a broad understanding of design strategy methods and practices when it comes to formatting, layout, and production for proposals, brochures, postcards, ads, flyers, presentations, websites, video graphics, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Use current and future design trends while adhering to fundamental design principles, keeping up with the latest software and computer technologies
  • Collaborate closely with writers/proposal coordinators to transform content into visual graphics
  • Design layouts incorporating text, iconography, images, etc., to help deliver a desired message
  • Present and articulate design concepts to internal clients and/or the marketing director
  • Incorporate changes recommended by internal clients and/or graphic design manager into final designs
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience (Formal training in graphic design or interactive design in some capacity needed.)
  • One to three years of relevant work experience (strong internships can be considered.)
  • Strong talent for all elements of design, layout, and typography
  • Strong creative flair, originality, and visual sense
  • Strong conceptual and visual communication skills
  • Solid presentation, listening and communication skills
  • Maintain quality of work, looking for ways to drive improvements while working quickly and efficiently, while delivering a great end product
  • Strong collaboration skills, with ability to communicate ideas and concepts
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, with strong focus on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus
  • Industry knowledge is a plus

A design portfolio demonstrating expertise in print design is required. Only resumes that include a PDF portfolio or a link to an online portfolio will be considered.
