Under the direction of the Chief Wellness Officer (CWO), the Human Resources (HR) Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day human resource operations of the MSU Bookstore. Reporting to the Chief Wellness Officer and MSU Bookstore Store Manager, the HR Specialist oversees all facets of human resources for the Bozeman campus of MSU Bookstore to ensure a safe, productive environment that enhances team building, positive workplace culture, and successful career development for all employees.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of positive leadership skills that build up the culture of the organization. Some of these skills include such things as collaborative problem-solving, calm, and inclusive speech, and practicing a teamwork mindset over a harsh or authoritative delegation style. It is also a baseline expectation that all employees celebrate our customers by engaging, advocating for, and contributing to the feeling of acceptance and inclusiveness for all subsidiary customers and employees.
