The Andretti Group has an excellent opportunity in our Human Resources Department for an HR Business Partner, specializing in Recruitment and Outreach. The HR Business Partner/Recruiter will partner with hiring managers in driving and managing all recruiting initiatives to completion. This critical role will function as an ambassador of The Andretti Group, attracting people that want a career, not just a job. This position will also coordinate Company-wide training initiatives and act as back-up for other HR duties as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads to assess and strategize hiring needs with the overall Company business goals

  • Manage full life-cycle of talent acquisition including; opening requisition(s)/job posting(s), phone screening, interviewing - scheduling and developing questions, creating and extending job offers, pre-employment screening, onboarding, etc.

  • Become effective in company HCM platform

  • Create, edit, and maintain up-to-date job descriptions that are interesting and eye-catching

  • Learn and communicate company policies, procedures, and programs in a passionate manner

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of current and future staffing needs within all Company departments/divisions

  • Actively participate in all Human Resources meetings and events

  • Serve as first point of contact for potential candidates and the public as it relates to recruitment and outreach efforts

  • Remain current on laws, regulations, trends, and innovative techniques

  • Conduct post-onboarding and exit interviews; including surveys for entry level positions, reporting findings to appropriate department/managers as needed

  • Train management in interviewing and hiring best practices and technique

  • Source, coordinate, and attend career fairs and other hiring events

  • Work with marketing to plan advertising campaigns through social media, job boards, local venues and other creative streams

  • Assume other duties as needed by Human Resources team

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Stress resilient and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Critical Thinking – use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions

  • Advanced computer and software skills/experience including proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, CRMs, ATS, HRMS, Payroll, etc.

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal

  • Competent in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to set personal goals and work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information

  • Demonstrated project management skills

Education and Experience

  • 18 years or older

  • High school graduate, GED, or relevant work experience

  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check

  • Multi-site location experience, preferred
