Job Description:

Tweeton Refrigeration in Detroit Lakes MN is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator/Project manager responsible for producing HVAC estimates and managing projects to completion.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Research and determine appropriate pricing for various materials, labor, and equipment
• Provide knowledge and expertise of mechanical piping and sheet metal systems
• Review and understand all of the project bid documents
• Understand energy codes and specifications that may affect each project
• Prepare proposal letter including scope of work, inclusions, exclusions and clarifications.
• Locate, notify and send bid information to customers by due dates.
• Daily interaction with subcontractors and customers
• Assist field technicians with the estimate after bid award & at project completion
• Consistent customer follow-up for feedback on bid / proposal
• Maintain records of all completed estimates in an organized manner
• Ability to maintain organization while multitasking in an extremely quick-paced environment
• Work as a team and manage technicians on the job sites.

Preferred Requirements:

• 2-3 years -HVAC estimating and sales experience
• Experience in a variety of project types
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word) and comfortable with spreadsheets
• Teachable / Trainable with the ability to receive constructive criticism
• Clean driving record.
