Summary:

Strengthening Foundations Counseling LLC, a growing behavioral health agency based in Longview, WA and serving families throughout western Washington State is seeking to train qualified candidates to join our team providing in-home family counseling services in Tacoma, Thurston, Clark, Cowlitz & Lewis Counties.

These full-time positions will require in-home visits and frequent community travel. The position will include both zoom hours for staffing and training with in-home sessions primarily during the daytime hours with very rare evening/weekend hours possible depending on client need. Our holistic approach to client care includes meeting the families other pressing needs such as connection to other social services or obtaining basic needs such as food/clothing/housing. The typical caseload is 10-12 families.

All training will be provided, licensure is not required as Agency Affiliate credential is available. Therapist typically work within the Family Preservation Services model with the opportunity to train in an Evidence Based Practice available.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field and ability to meet Washington state department of health credentialing requirements which can include Agency Affiliation.
• Or a Bachelor's degree in the above fields with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Prepared to work independently with flexible hours.
• Ability to complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Very good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Fulfillment of background check clearance, and any other mandatory Federal/State/County and agency requirements.
• Valid driver's license & proof of current automobile insurance.
• Must provide and operate a registered, properly insured automobile
• Bilingual English/Spanish or Russian is a plus but not required
