Neurology Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are invited to join our growing hospital based Neurology practice in this days-only position with no weekends and no call! Centrally located in ocean front, historic New England, we are less than three hours’ drive to Norfolk, DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. With nearly $300 million dollars invested into hospital over the past three years, we plan to continue to grow our team to meet the demands of our rising population while still maintaining our independent ownership.

Compensation:
$120,000 - $170,000 + sign-on and relocation assistance
(Comparable to $215,000 in DC)
Up to $5,000 CME allowance

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Days only
NO call

Responsibilities:
Hospital rounding
Inpatient neurological consults
Teleneurology consults
Telestroke patients
Encephalopathy
Parkinson’s and Guillain-Barre syndrome
Inpatient stroke
Prognostication for anoxic brain injury

Requirements:
Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Acute certification is preferred
Hospital Neurology experience is preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient critical care or hospitalist medicine is required
BLS, ACLS, NIH stroke certifications are required#IND1
