SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

Experience: Construction product sales or support, project management or architecture / interior design.

Must be able to read construction drawings and bid documents.

Skilled in Word and Excel, with good keyboard skills.

Be proficient at analyzing and solving problems. This role requires good basic business math skills.

Must communicate clearly and articulately on the phone and in writing, including proper grammar, spelling, word usage and punctuation.

Ability to organize, prioritize and manage your time to execute the work.

Learn our products through factory training, personal study and on the job coaching.

Experience with Bluebeam, Salesforce and Access are a plus.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond promptly to sales inquiries and opportunities.

Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships.

Support all activities that drive sales.

Follow up and negotiate to close orders.

Manage shop drawings / submittal documents and order progress including changes to existing orders.

Work closely with manufacturers' personnel to meet customers' requirements.

Quickly resolve problems and challenges by working with agency and factory personnel.

Enter orders into our database, and complete end of month record keeping.
