Position Summary

The Landscape Maintenance Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the administrative and field operations for the Maintenance Department. This position ensures that the company’s professional and production standards as well as contract requirements are maintained while delivering excellent customer service and developing employees.

General Responsibilities

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the field operations of the company which consists of 6 crews. They will be responsible for the scheduling, routing, quality control, training, motivating, hiring/firing, documenting and making sure that the company is meeting or exceeding the service agreements. The goal is to grow as their client retention rate is high, 95-98%. This position will review the current state of the department and make adjustments where needed for policies and procedures. Their clients consist of Distribution Centers, Churches, Shopping Centers, Apartment Complexes, Condo Associations and other commercial clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Management and coordination of the Maintenance Division
• P&L responsibility for work unit
• Developing departmental budgets
• Ensure adequate and proper staffing and headcount
• Development of personnel within the department to include training and certifications
• Coordination of crew scheduling
• Strictly enforce all company operational safety procedures and policies
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Approval of all estimates for work in the department
• Become liaison between administrative, general management, customer service, and field operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
