Class B Local Truck / Delivery Driver

Cenvar Roofing has an immediate opening for a local Class B Truck Driver in Charlottesville, Virginia. This full-time opportunity will be responsible for pick-up & delivery, as well as loading & unloading trailers. In this role, you will service the Charlottesville, Midlothian and Harrisonburg areas. This is a full time plus overtime position with the expectation that you will work 40 - 45 hours per week.

Essential Responsibilities : Class B Local Truck / Delivery Driver

• Picking up and delivering roofing materials.
• 5 day work week: Monday thru Friday. (occasional Saturdays as required)
• Traveling between pick-up locations and regional branches.
• Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability.
• Communicates necessary information daily to branch General Managers & Asset Manager.
• Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.
• Assists with transporting company vehicles / assets as needed.
• Performs all duties as scheduled by Asset Manager and assist as directed to meet branch needs.

Successful candidates will have the following qualities:

• Previous experience as a Class B pickup/delivery driver.
• Valid/Current Class B CDL with no restrictions.
• 1 year verifiable Class B driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR.
• Experienced forklift driver with a valid forklift certification.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without difficulty.
• Previous warehouse & forklift experience in a fast paced, LTL environment preferred.
• Must be dependable.
• Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Pass drug tests before and during employment.
