Job Summary

The mission of the Marketing Administrator is to contribute to existing marketing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with the company and customer goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
• Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends.
• Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including a credentials database, tracking capability, and contact directory.
• Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team.
• Entering data into spreadsheets within the company-based computer program.
• Organizing and auditing marketing inventory.
• Preparing marketing material for shipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

A.S. in Marketing, advertising, communications, or relevant work experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Past work experience as a marketing administrator, coordinator, or similar role.
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
• Experience with research using data analytics software.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Photoshop knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Outlook software.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is low.
