Job Description :
At the conclusion of your internship, you’ll enhance your skillset in project management, storytelling and business writing, advertising, website and social media marketing, collateral and presentation development, event coordination, and internal employee communications. You will gain valuable exposure to the firm’s leadership, as well as significant knowledge of the architecture / engineering / construction (AEC) industry.
The MarCom Intern will be supervised by a Marketing Manager and will support the team’s day-to-day activities. All work must be completed in a timely and accurate manner, consistent with the high-quality standards of the team. The position requires a self-starter, team player, and independent thinker who will represent Gannett Fleming in a professional manner.
Gannett Fleming’s Internship Program is a formal four-month experience designed to fully immerse you in our culture. Emphasis is placed on mentorship and connection to peers across all our business lines while you work alongside leading experts in the AEC industry. We offer biweekly professional development webinars, an Intern Day celebration, and other networking opportunities along with the opportunity to gain hands-on project experience. As the program concludes, we will consider extending the internship, depending on business needs and a candidate’s performance and availability. - Degree program: BS, BBA, or BA in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
- Prior related internship or similar experience preferred, including professional associations, on-campus groups, and/or community service activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong work ethic, collaborative approach, and willingness to learn.
