Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Communications Specialist that will lead the development and coordination of marketing communications strategies to enhance the company brand image, increase new sales leads, and improve external and internal customer connection, engagement, and culture with a primary focus on the digital experience. At Therm-O-Disc we offer a flexible work schedule with the ability to work from home up to two days per week.

Position Responsibilities:

• Outline and help implement communication strategies & plans in support of marketing and business strategies.
• Guide / provide oversight to marketing communications globally, working with responsible personnel in each region.
• Develop/lead direct or indirect marketing communication teams.
• Monitor and incorporates marketing communication technology and competitive trends.
• Ensure market/customer-facing branding aligns with Therm-O-Disc guidelines.
• Lead development and promotion of the company and brand messaging with new and existing products through means of trade show coordination and other support.
• Equip the sales teams with marketing collateral and tools.
• Work closely with human resources to help guide internal communications strategy and activity.
• Coordinate activity related, but not limited to, the website, trade shows, social media, mobile apps, print material, PR, advertising, case studies / white papers, videos, intranet, digital presentations, newsletters, email campaigns, customer events, etc.
• Obtain customer feedback via surveys/others.
• Promote a positive image of Therm-O-Disc both internally and externally.
• Provide inputs into how to improve Therm-O-Disc’s customer-focused culture

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years of marketing communications experience (digital marketing is key), preferably in a manufacturing organization.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, or equivalent productivity suites, currently in use by the Company.
• Familiarity with digital marketing communications channels and tools (i.e. Web Content Management, YouTube, Google Analytics, Social Media, etc.).
• Photography/photo editing, In-Design / other software knowledge preferred.
