Create and Manage a Marketing and Communications (M&C) team reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this position works closely with, manages, and hires other M&C professionals, as well as with other internal and external audiences to manage approved marketing and communications projects and functions with multi companies. This position creates and implements marketing and communications plans, helps manage the companies response to emerging local and national issues, and manages communication channels, portfolios, or functions. This position builds mutually positive and constructive relationships among the Landscaping, Manufacturing and Freight communities and works with traditional and social media to place stories and respond to inquiries as assigned.

Acts as key strategist for internal and external communications, overseeing the development and/or maintenance of high affinity relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

The manager will research, write, design, and produce various companies specific educational material, brochures, ads, internal and external communication pieces, marketing material, media kits, etc., to accomplish the goals of each company.

Supports and plans events, campaigns, programs, and projects as assigned, guided by strategic research, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.

Leads social media efforts for multiple companies, establishing and working with a social media Team.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and manage a marketing team.
• Partner with leadership to implement creative marketing and advertising strategies that adhere to budgeted guidelines (including using internet advertising providers, social media, print advertising, referrals, outreach marketing, SEO, organic placement, and other tactics) and appropriately select marketing techniques that fit the companies target profile and market conditions.
• Provide additional and in-depth marketing support to under-performing companies by analyzing the current traffic and performance, troubleshooting, and identifying factors contributing to the performance, developing, and implementing aggressive marketing, advertising, pricing, and promotional campaigns, and closely reviewing and evaluating results to make further adjustments specific to each company.
• Provide Online Presence training to coworkers and community as needed.
• Oversee social media accounts and post material on a regular weekly basis, including new companies and creative social media content.
• Review, refine, and standardize the marketing message across all platforms.
• Work directly with reputation management companies to ensure they are following standards and guidelines.
• Conduct webinars and product trainings as needed.
• Identify and meet with advertising and marketing vendors, review proposed service contracts for preferred and favorable rates, recommend service providers, and monitor and manage advertising suppliers for product and customer service quality as needed.
• Assist with signage, logo, and branding as needed. Responsibilities may include working with design and production vendors on design, production, and final installation.
• Monitor markets for trends, forecasts, job growth, and other economic conditions which may impact effectiveness within the portfolio; recommend changes and response strategies to offset market downturns or opportunities, new developments, products and provide feedback and recommendations to improving struggling company performance and maximizing revenue generation on performing companies.
• Create events/marketing ideas/team building for the President to send out to all companies each month.
• Complete Monthly/Weekly in-depth Corporate Marketing and Social Media Reports.
• Complete various other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Requirements:

• 1- 2 years of experience managing content and social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, twitter, YouTube, etc.)
• Experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
• Previous experience effectively conveying information and relaying ideas to others
• Skills in the use of the internet for marketing and product advertising, and proficiency in navigating websites and internet communication tools such as e-mail, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
• Must be self-motivated, with attention to detail
• A positive attitude and an ability to communicate and work well with others
• Ability to read and write English, Spanish is also helpful.

· Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

· Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

· See and read computer monitors and documents.

· Remain sitting or standing for long periods to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
