Job Description
Create and Manage a Marketing and Communications (M&C) team reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this position works closely with, manages, and hires other M&C professionals, as well as with other internal and external audiences to manage approved marketing and communications projects and functions with multi companies. This position creates and implements marketing and communications plans, helps manage the companies response to emerging local and national issues, and manages communication channels, portfolios, or functions. This position builds mutually positive and constructive relationships among the Landscaping, Manufacturing and Freight communities and works with traditional and social media to place stories and respond to inquiries as assigned.
Acts as key strategist for internal and external communications, overseeing the development and/or maintenance of high affinity relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
The manager will research, write, design, and produce various companies specific educational material, brochures, ads, internal and external communication pieces, marketing material, media kits, etc., to accomplish the goals of each company.
Supports and plans events, campaigns, programs, and projects as assigned, guided by strategic research, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
Leads social media efforts for multiple companies, establishing and working with a social media Team.
