This busy pediatric office is looking for an experienced individual who must have EMR medical billing experience and ideally additional experience as a receptionist. Strong medical billing and organizational skills required. A positive attitude and a team outlook is critical. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills a must. Ability to tackle busy multi-line phones. This Billing/Front Desk candidate must be reliable, punctual, and detail oriented. This candidate should be able to problem solve and take initiative as necessary.

The Medical Billing tasks will include giving support to our billing department. Experience with patient collections, understanding insurance claims and balances as well as assisting with specialty referrals and authorizations essential. Ability to communicate with insurance carriers a plus.

Front desk duties include greeting patients with a friendly smile, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, verifying demographics, asking for and collecting patient's payments, checking patient's insurance eligibility, and processing referrals to specialists.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
