Graphic designers at Creosote are responsible for supporting our clients in all aspects of visual output. You’ll directly support senior designers and creative directors in delivering award-winning work. This includes, but is not limited to: graphic design, photo manipulation, motion graphics, social media posts, production for both digital and print deliverables, branded collateral, web banners, presentation design and original content.

The ideal Mid-level Designer/Art Director is:

• A college graduate with a two- or four-year degree or experienced in production or agency environments
• Interested in meeting the demands of a small, full-service agency
• Proficient in all or most of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficient in Macintosh and Microsoft Office
• Dual-minded: Highly creative but can also think within established brands and strategies

Essential skills and responsibilities:

• Demonstrates an accomplished motion graphics skill set, and an understanding of the principles of animation
• Works collaboratively to develop branded collateral – social media content, short video reels, animated videos, brand identities, printed materials, and presentations
• Brainstorms with team for new and refined ideas
• Ability to execute following conceptual direction and client feedback
• Excellent design, typography, motion and layout skills
• In-depth knowledge and experience animating in Adobe After Effects
• Editing videos in Premiere
• Designing vector-based assets in Illustrator
• Work with Creosote team to deliver on all assets needed for clients’ businesses
• Adhering to timelines and performing under tight deadlines if needed
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once, multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a desire to collaborate
• Proactive with a desire to exceed goals
• Mid-level Designer/Art Director must provide their portfolio URL or as an attachment to be considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
