Job Description :

We are a medical practice in Knoxville, TN with experience in complete and comprehensive full service family practice. We are seeking a dedicated nurse practitioner/physician assistant to promote our values of traditional family practice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment of illness or injuries, with required knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through the completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed and recommending options and courses of action. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records via EMR system. Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Maintains professional and technical knowledge. Additional training will come directly from the supervising physician at specific conferences recommended by the supervising physician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $58.00 per hour
