We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented and dedicated NPs to help perform disability exams for our Veterans. This is a great opportunity to give back to our American heroes. Location: Bakersfield, CA

Shift: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Premanent contract position!

Job Details:
  • Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans
  • Exams are typically 45 mins to multiple hours
  • Practitioners can order applicable ancillaries at the time of the evaluation (X-Rays, labs, EKGs, Echos, ABIs, PFTs, etc).
  • Capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; all documentation will be completed electronically
  • Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations
Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree or successfully completed a Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted
  • Primary care experience is preferred
