The Lab Assistant I performs three roles in the function of the Laboratory: 1) Lab customer service and charge entry, 2) phlebotomy and specimen collection, 3)

Employs root cause analysis and/or tracer methodology to examine the cause of errors, improve/revise process and educate staff.

May assist with payroll functions including answering employee questions & fixing processing errors in the HRIS. Assists with preparation of government reports.
