Wyckoff Farms Inc is a Vertically Integrated, Lower Valley Agricultural Organization seeks to fill a full-time Assistant Row Crop Operations Manager.

Position Description: Large diverse farming operation looking for an Assistant Row crop manager. Crops including but not limited to potato, corn, mint, hay, and various other annual crops.

Primary functions:

· Direct Management of the following activities (in conjunction with Operations Manager)

• Preference towards Potato operations but not limited to: Planting, irrigation, fertilizer, chemigation, and harvest activities.

· Training of Seasonal/harvest crew supervision

· Record keeping for daily tasks and crop events.

· Experience in Precision Farming - GPS, monitors, guidance systems, etc.

· Train new employees in the safe operation of equipment and tasks as assigned.

· Annual budget preparation for all related tasks (in conjunction with Operations manager)

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

· Excellent communication skills and ability to see the big picture and take initiative.

· Will report directly to the Row Crop Operations Manager

· Secondary Functions:

· Attend horticulture and industry educational meetings and pesticide and safety seminars.

· Coordinate annual CPR certification class for all department supervisors and crew leaders.

· Qualifications:

· Must be action oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· High School Diploma

· AA or Bachelors in Ag related activities preferred.

· Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.

· Three years row crop productions-experience in potato agronomy preferred.
