Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to strategically plan and oversee the manufacturing and distribution of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines, automated lines, and the quality of output. You have an advanced understanding of production procedures. With your ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance you are set apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. Your goal is to ensure efficient and productive manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements. If you are up to the challenge, we’d like to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Build strong cooperative teams
• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
• Lead and develop Plant Leaders to meet specifications and deadlines
• Oversee and ensure adequate resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions

Skills

• Proven experience as a Strategic Leader
• Deep knowledge of production management
• Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluation concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and ERP software, specifically SAGE X3
• Outstanding communication ability
• Lean/Sigma Experience
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• BS/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferred
