Our 10-week Americas Summer Internship Program offers students an immersive learning experience with hands on work in areas across the organization. Interning with PTC provides students with the opportunity to work on high-visibility and high impact projects. This program begins June 5, 2023 and concludes August 11, 2023.

Your Impact:

This role is to help identify and groom possible interns for future roles within product marketing. The intern will work with other product marketing managers to understand the roles and responsibilities of product marketing while being also given an opportunity to own a project in its entirety. The intern will also be a valued contributor to ongoing projects such as content creation, content audit, customer interviews, podcast management and more. The intern will help to accelerate the delivery of content used to drive sales engagements and demand gen.

Your Team:

The product marketing intern will work closely with different functional areas of the team including; digital UX, demand generation, sales, customer advocacy, technical content creation, and product management. They will help to support ongoing projects in each of these areas while also owning a full project during their tenure.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Support content creation for Onshape with technical and business writing for the website and demand generation campaigns, such as websites, eBooks, blogs, etc.

• Support Onshape sales with persona, account and industry research to build profiles of target prospective accounts for faster qualification.

• Support product marketing and product management with ongoing product launch processes.

• Help with the state of product design industry survey and report

Basic Qualifications:

• Sophomore or higher with background in software, mechanical engineering or other engineering field

• Familiarity with marketing or product management, with strong communication skills.

• Familiarity with CAD, product design or manufacturing, passion for technology.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize your day to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work cross functionally with subject matter experts to build technical and industry content.

• Ability to write in various styles.
