Cognosante is looking for a motivated, hands-on Project Manager with a strong IT or data background who is up for the challenge of joining a high-performing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Ecosystem (DE) team. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with the customer’s project management resource to plan, direct, manage, and oversee overall Cognosante project management activities. The primary focus is on providing an integrated view of all project and related program activities. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of development and implementation of assigned project(s) and provide a single point of contact for the project(s)
• Define project scope and objectives
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Direct and supervise (if applicable) support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities
• Conduct project meetings and track/analyze project
• Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, IT support, and client services
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
• Manage vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
• Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
• Support follow-on business or new business development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading a large scale or enterprise-wide healthcare IT systems contract or implementation;
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing IT systems programs and/or projects; Previous experience following a standard project management methodology and in using various project management tools in developing project plans, delivering tasks, and tracking timelines and resources; and
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing project through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytics skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Prove ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
