PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain project communications with the customer point of contact.
• Generate and maintain the project plan.
• Coordinate the establishment of the project environment to include communication, escalation paths, and problem resolution methodology.
• manage onsite personnel.
• Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the infrastructure and customer project teams.
• Manage all project financials. This includes tracking and reporting of revenue, expenses, and project billing.
• Project monitoring and closing activities; reporting of results to senior management.
• Write POs with accuracy to vendors, sub-contractors, and all other required entities.
• Review drawings and contracts for accuracy and company exposure.
• Review and update exclusions for each job individually.
• Attend job meetings, site meetings, walk throughs, and all other forums as required.
• Explain and negotiate drawings, scope, and equipment with clients, sub-contractors, and applicable parties.
• Be involved in site safety and discover/address short comings.
• Work with the sales team and engineering to address any oversights.
• Provide proper insurance and requirements to safeguard the company and clientele.
• Negotiate contract billing requirements.
• Perform timely billing and follow up with payments.
• Review materials and verify accuracy to prevent any project delays.
• Document all transactions and correspondence.
• Estimate and take off jobs for labor, safety equipment, misc. tools, expendables, & job conditions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in delivering services to customers with a track record of exceptional results.
• Ability to communicate internally and externally on all levels, through all mediums.
• Ability to apply project management principles, processes, and tools to effectively manage projects.
• Good overall understanding of technology from a LAN/WAN perspective.
• End user focused, service oriented.
• Able to gather requirements from any area (end-user, engineering, operations, deployment etc.) and clearly communicate to all interested parties.
• Strong presentation skills for presenting to Senior Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Maintain a respectful and professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Highly organized and efficient.
• Leads by example.
• Accountable, efficient, responsible, and willing to learn.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Ability to work business hours of Monday – Friday 8am-5:00pm. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

Education/Certifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

· CCNP or higher, PMP Certification desirable.
