Full Job Description

Overall support and management of all phases of the pre-construction process to help drive the efforts of the Real Estate Development team and execute a robust growth strategy. Work collaboratively with the Real Estate, Development, Legal, and Construction team members from project inception through completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and support complex commercial and residential development projects by partnering with an internal/external team of real estate brokers, attorneys, architects

& engineers, surveyors, consultants, general contractors, owners, lenders, and municipal/regulatory representatives for successful project execution

  • Support site acquisitions and securing project entitlements/permits with full understanding of the project strategy and potential risks
  • Perform various types of technical tasks associated with development, including but not limited to, the preparation of due diligence memos, concept/site plans, presentations for internal/external project approvals, and other requirements as needed
  • Assist with initial creation of project specific proformas, deal structure and development timelines
  • Coordinate transition of projects from the design phase to development phase, and from development to construction phase
  • Provide technical support to development strategies, goals, and objectives specific to project execution at each project phase

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three (3) years of experience in real estate development work is required
  • Understanding of land development codes, zoning regulations, and the entitlement process
  • Site planning experience with autocad
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to handle rapidly changing priorities
  • Experience with scheduling software preferred.
  • PMP training or certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of basic accounting, financial management, and financial modeling is preferred.
