Davenport, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Davenport, Iowa. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform Quality Engineering work and be responsible for contributing as a member of the Articulated Dump Truck business unit. Your primary responsibility will be to supporting the first shift assembly operations (will support other production shifts as needed)

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Use quality tools and practices to establish approval criteria to ensure the identification of quality failure concerns for both internal and external manufactured parts and assemblies. An example is Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Investigate unit quality related issues and concerns related to product and processes, gathers and analyzes data, resolves/facilitates resolution and implements corrective action.
• Engage in applying/leading Quality tools on Customer Support Process (CSP), Continuous Improvement (CI), and/or Value Improvement (VI) teams.
• Execute John Deere Quality Control Plan where implemented.
• Facilitate and write quality procedures for the purpose of maintaining/updating the factory quality system and supports quality system audits, reviews results with audit team, and participates in management review meetings.

Requirements:

• Ability to work on first shift.
• Ability to be comfortable on a shop floor environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with production environment, supporting assembly line.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering capacity.
