Our inpatient facility houses 22 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Our historic, remodeled mansion is located in stunning Monterey, with ocean views.

• Fri-Sat 3pm-11 pm
• Wed Thurs 11pm -7:30 am

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Security Guard/ Resident Assistant maintains a safe and secure environment for residents and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The security guard will patrol the grounds every fifteen minutes, checking doors and windows, and checking empty rooms and bushes. They will escort unwanted guests from the premise and make a report. They will encourage a client from leaving the facility grounds, if a client insists on leaving, the security guard will notify medical staff immediately. The security guard will ensure the tidiness of the grounds, picking up any debris and garbage. The primary function of the security guard position is to observe and report and assist when needed with clients.

Essential Functions:

• Inspect and patrol premises regularly
• Monitor property entrances
• Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
• Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows
• Monitor surveillance cameras when available
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
• Aid people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity
• Submit reports of every suspicious action

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Guard card (preferred)

Hourly: $21-$26
