Requirements for all positions:

• Must be 16 or older
• Should be available for weekends in the Spring, including select Fridays and Mondays.
• Bring any schedule conflicts with you to the interview/audition.
• All performers will audition for roles:
• Actors prepare a one minute comic monologue.
• Singers prepare a 2 minute contemporary up-tempo that best shows your vocal range and personality.
• Singers and dancers will learn a dance combination from our choreographer - bring clothes to move in.

Ambassadors

You'll contribute to our mission by:

• Supporting the Six Flags Mantra - Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
• Meeting and greeting guests with enthusiasm
• Ensuring smooth operation of theater venue and character appearances
• Acting as verbal liaison between characters and others
• Accompanying characters and other performers
• Maintaining "show illusion" and belief of character at all times for our guests
• Assisting performers in and out of costumes, ensuring that all pieces are neat and secure
• Caring for and maintaining the upkeep of costumes, props, and accessories
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Performers (including: Singers, Dancers, Actors, Radio Hots, and Midway Team Members)

You'll contribute to our mission by:

• Supporting the Six Flags Mantra - Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
• Creating and/or impersonating characters and personalities
• Appearing at off property events
• Learning and memorizing script, dialogue, choreography, and blocking
• Maintaining show consistency and executes each performance as directed
• Meeting and greeting guests with enthusiasm
• Maintaining "show illusion" and belief of character at all times for our guests
• Caring for and maintaining upkeep of costumes, props, and accessories including simple repairs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

You'll know you’re ready if you are:

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
• Able to communicate and interact with large groups of Guests
• Able to work on a team or independently
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• At least 16 years of age or older
