CardExchange Solutions, Inc. is a manufacturer of credential-software solutions that builds scalable products such as card-production software, smart-card solutions, visitor-management systems and more. Most of our products have been developed in the .NET Framework using Visual Studio (WPF, Visual Basic .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API). For the front end of web applications, we moved to TypeScript and Angular.

Overview of Position

We are currently looking for an additional .NET Developer who will enforce our development team and help us develop our innovative software solutions. We are looking for programmers who can learn quickly and have strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand CardExchange® family of products
• Develop commercial desktop applications, using WPF using both Visual Basic .Net and C#
• Develop Web-API functions for our Publishing Portal, using ASP.NET Core and C#
• Participate in testing, documenting, maintaining and supporting commercial software products
• Work in a small, geographically distributed product-development team

Job Requirements

• Experience with the .NET Framework in combination with either Visual Basic .NET or C#
• Experience with WPF in combination with the MVVM design pattern
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with third-party API integration is a plus
• Knowledge of Angular is a plus
• Experience with SCRUM
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Capacity to write well-structured code that is both robust and maintainable
• Ability to plan work, distinguish priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand general concepts and philosophies
• Ability to analyze products from sales, end-user and support perspectives
• Affinity with developing user interfaces
• Systematically plans and prioritizes tasks to assure a timely delivery of smaller and bigger development projects
• Has strong analytical capabilities and a well-developed feeling for concepts, design patterns and general philosophies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Equivalent Work Experience
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Work at our Northern California Brentwood office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
