• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Corresponds with customers for past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent customers to request payment.
• Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts.
• Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
• Reconciles accounts receivable balances.
• Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• On-site office setting.
• Requires some activities in a manufacturing setting including heavy equipment and loud noise situations.
• Some travel may be required.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent computer skills and ability to maintain systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Education and/or related experience:

• Three to five plus years of work experience in accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
