The Guest Services & Ticket Gate Attendant is both the host and the gatekeeper of the mountain. This individual is attentive, friendly, and is responsible for the ticket security of the mountain. Their responsibilities are to welcome guests to the mountain, to provide guidance and engage with guests, and to ensure that all entering the mountain area have their ticket for the day. The Ticket Gate Attendant goes out of their way to help guests and improve their experience. No task is too small when working on Donner Summit; we all step up to help with any task needed no matter our title.

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in their role as the Guest Services and Ticket Gate Attendant:
- Proactively anticipate the needs of our guests and offer assistance
- Communicates directions clearly
- Provides excellent guest service
- Ensures all guests have a valid ticket or season pass
- Understands and communicates resort offerings and policies
- Maintains resort areas to be clear of debris and presentable to our guests
- Attends daily operations meetings to gather information on resort operations
- Controls flow of lift maze traffic
We're Looking for Guest Service & Ticket Gate Attendants Who Can:
- Have a guest service mindset and outgoing personality
- Communicate in a direct and helpful manner
- Enforce ticket security
- Stand outside in all weather for extended periods of time
- Lift 50 pounds
- Work weekends and holidays
- Work some evening shifts if asked
