About Us

Pacific Nurseries is California’s oldest wholesale nursery that has been supplying the greater Bay Area’s landscape professionals with high quality plant material for over 150 years. As both a producer and broker of ornamental plants, we deal with a wide variety of material ranging from flats of ground cover to 48” box trees, and everything in between. Located in the South San Francisco region, we service local landscape professionals by fulfilling orders for delivery and will call pick up, as well as allowing customers to browse our inventory and select material of their choosing. We are passionate about delivering a superb product with quality service unmatched throughout the Bay Area and are currently looking to expand our dynamic team of knowledgeable professionals.

Core Responsibilities

• Process customer orders for will call & delivery
• Assist customers in person at the sales counter
• Answer phone calls directed to the sales team
• Respond to email inquiries for orders & quotes
• Process customer orders submitted via company website
• Maintain customer relationship and communication

Skills

• Plant knowledge and identification in ornamental horticulture
• Proficient with computer skills & technology
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a focused manner
• Professional demeanor with coworkers and customers
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
• Strong bilingual preference: English and Spanish

Preferred Experience

• Previous nursery, landscaping, or other related field
• Customer service or sales
