Ba Ba O'Riley's
A club located at 6 Truman St. in downtown New London (now home to Jan Electronic Supplies Inc.). Also know as Ba Ba's Cafe (not sure which name came first or why it was changed).
Ba Ba's was featured in the local TV news in a "punk rock comes to your town" stories, with TV footage of Youth Core and the headliner, Fear.
Joan Jett played there at about the time her first solo LP was released. She played Bad Reputation twice! The only good song she had at the time. There was a snow storm that night that kept the place pretty empty, but a handful of fans trudged through the snow on Bank Street anyway.
